Terms of Use

Welcome to X-Mail (the "App", Chinese name X-邮箱), operated by Yishu Labs ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App is an email client with optional AI-assisted features (summaries, translation, replies and classification). See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for your email accounts, the security of your credentials, and the content you send.
• You must comply with applicable laws and must not use the App to send spam, commit fraud, distribute unlawful or infringing content, or otherwise harm others.

3. AI-generated content

AI-generated summaries, translations and replies may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review them before sending, and rely on the original email for anything important.

4. Payments

• Basic features are free to use.
• You may make a one-time purchase (after which you can use your own AI key).
• We may later offer a subscription that includes AI usage.
• A 15-day trial of the full AI features is provided on first install.
• Prices are as shown in the App Store; purchases and refunds are handled under Apple's rules.

5. Third-party services

Your email provider, Google, Microsoft and AI providers are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their services.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for your particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the App, and our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the App. This does not apply where mandatory law provides otherwise.

7. Intellectual property

The App and its software, interface and marks belong to Yishu Labs or its licensors. Rights in your email and content remain with you or the original owners.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and we will notify you in the App of material changes. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. If you materially breach these Terms, we may restrict or end your access to related features such as AI services.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, unless mandatory law of your place of residence provides otherwise.
